The Daily Background discovered and reported that that one of Belkin’s employees attempted to use Amazon’s crowdsourcing service, Mechanical Turk, to generate positive online reviews for its routers.

From InformationWeek’s Mobile Blog: Fortunately Belkin was paying attention and responded quickly. Here’s the discussion of Belkin’s response to the discovery that one of it’s employees had posted queries on the Amazon Mechanical Turk website inviting users to post positive reviews of Belkin products in exchange for payment.
