So, I’ve finally broken down and started using Twitter myself….mainly to post articles I find that are relevant to social media and web strategy — and also to connect with colleagues. So I’ve added this Twitter badge to our blog (see in the right sidebar). There are a wide range of Twitter badge options that allow you to publicize your Twitter account on any other online profiles you have (e.g. your blog, website or other social media account).
While there are some official Twitter badges you can get from Twitter, there are also others that have a little more style to them. Darren Rowse on his blog Twitips has published an excellent round-up of options “181 Free Twitter Buttons, Badges, Widget and Counters to Help You Find Followers.”

how did you get yours to work, Trying to figure out how i can put this on my blog and ppl that comes to my site to be able to click on it to get to go to my twitterpage
Hi Mary- I added a bit of HTML code to a text sidebar widget:
